Did you know that every time a Canadian registers for their Provincial Triathlon Association, they also become a member of Triathlon Canada? Triathlon Canada receive $15 ($6 for youth) from your total registration fee, and use this money to promote sport development and high performance across Canada. For transparency, this has now been itemized as you will see at the payment page. Please note this does not increase your membership price.

General Membership Benefits

  • The satisfaction in knowing your membership fees help support Triathlon PEI and its mission to grow and develop the sport in a safe and fun way.

  • $5,000,000 of 3rd Party Liability, Medical and Dental Coverage at all Triathlon PEI-sanctioned races, club workouts, training days, clinics and events

  • No payment of one-day membership race fees for sanctioned races in PEI, NB, NS, NFLD and all other provinces - a savings of $15.-$20. per adult race entry and $5 per child entry

  • Discounts on Triathlon PEI clinics, training days and seminars

  • Eligibility to qualify as a Canadian National Age Group team member and compete at ITU World Championships, Clubs and Club Members

  • Access to NCCP-trained coaches, overseen by Triathlon PEI in the province

  • Discounts at many local businesses ( listed below)

  • When you become a member of Triathlon PEI, you also become a member of Triathlon Canada, and you are eligible for Triathlon Canada discounts

  • A membership card that you can print from your membership application form to provide to businesses that offer discounts to members

Juniors

  • Possibility to be included in the new Provincial Development Program

  • Eligibility to qualify and compete in Canada Summer Games, Training days, clinics and talent ID camps

  • Drafting training and certification

Coaches

  • Liability and accident insurance at all Triathlon PEI-sanctioned club training workouts and events

  • NCCP coaching certification courses

  • Membership access to SIRC's online sport research library

  • High Performance Eligibility to qualify for Quest for Gold funding

  • Access to additional high-performance funding and services

  • Eligible to compete in Elite-level competitions
